On the other: purpose. Flexibility, autonomy, trust, meaningful work.

The truth? Employees want both.

 

Pizza parties can add to a great culture, and don’t have to mean that a company is hiding something.

The sweet spot is when you balance the two:

  • Perks that make work fun.

  • Purpose that makes work meaningful.
