EVP: Prospects, or Progression – Growth, Development and the Future


In my Cheer! Survey, I look at seven pillars that shape a strong Employee Value Proposition (EVP):

Brand & Purpose, Culture, Environment, Monetary, Prospects, Relationships, and Wellbeing.

This time, the focus is on Prospects – the opportunities employees see for growth, development, and career progression. A strong EVP doesn’t just answer “what do I get today?” but also “where can I go tomorrow?”.

From promotions and training, to mentoring, skill development, and clear career pathways, the Prospects pillar is often the difference between someone staying to build their future with you… or moving on to find it elsewhere.
