Engagement Techniques: 2025 Round-up

This year we launched a series of Engagement Techniques, with an idea to prove something important: engagement is a lot simpler than people make it!

The exercises range from ‘Inspiration’ to Golden Goals, Innovation Challenges, Stay Interviews, ‘The Machine’, Happiness Scores and more – all very different on paper, but sharing a thread: they were small, human actions making a big difference.

I deliberately shared engagement techniques that don’t require a huge budget, a new system. There’s no hint of ‘culture transformation’ required. More moments that help people connect, feel seen, and make work slightly better than it was yesterday.

So take a look, I’m sure at least one will stand out to you. Remember – engagement isn’t complicated, it just needs consistency, curiosity, and a few small habits that people actually enjoy doing.
