CHEER Explains: Culture Add
We’ve been posting a number of videos on our YouTube channel around various HR/Engagement terms, to help introduce you to them.
Now I’ll be uploading them to this very website.
This time it’s CULTURE ADD.
Culture Fit is what businesses commonly use as a reason why someone doesn’t work out, or why they don’t hire. (eg. “They’re not the right ‘culture fit’”).
Smart businesses hire for Culture Add. Culture add is when you hire people who aren’t in the same mould, so you can have a more diverse workforce and get better results.
We don’t want to all be the same now, do we?
