This time it’s ENGAGEMENT.
What does it actually mean for business?
Imagine you have 8 people in a boat, rowing to the same destination, your goal. 5 of those people are incredible, helping you row in the right direction.
2 of them are sitting there doing nothing. 1 of them at the back is facing the wrong way.
The 5 are engaged. The 2 are disengaged. The 1 is actively disengaged.
With engagement, the idea is you get the best out of the 5 at the front, help the middle 2 get to the same pace, and get the 1 off the boat – for their good, as much as yours as a business. With EVP, and other engagement approaches, you can make that boat go faster!
