EVP Spotlight: Relationships
EVP: Relationships – Teams, Managers and Connections
In my Cheer! Survey, I look at seven pillars that shape a strong Employee Value Proposition (EVP):
Brand & Purpose, Culture, Environment, Monetary, Prospects, Relationships, and Wellbeing.
This time, the focus is on Relationships, or the connections employees build with their colleagues, managers, and wider teams. Strong relationships create trust, collaboration, and belonging. Weak ones, on the other hand, are one of the fastest ways to drive disengagement and turnover.
From supportive managers to team camaraderie, the quality of relationships at work has a direct impact on performance, wellbeing, and whether people choose to stay.
I’ve explored why Relationships are a vital pillar of EVP, and how organisations can nurture them effectively.
